Recently a group of us paddled Whiskey Creek in Dania Beach, Florida. We launched from inside John U. Lloyd State Park at the Loggerhead Cafe. Just speak to Richard. He'll set you up for a sweet paddle through Whiskey Creek.
We saw blue heron, great white egret, ibis, crabs, kingfisher, sandpiper, lots of small fish, a hawk and more...
After this beautiful show presented to us by Nature, we pulled our kayaks up onto the sandy beach of Whiskey Creek. Then we walked over to the beach and jumped into the Atlantic Ocean for a few luscious minutes. Got out, showered outside and changed our clothes in the restroom of the Loggerhead Cafe.
It was fun. A must do for everyone...
